sharing perompak story...

we are the first family yg tinggal di BP10. The first 2 -3 weeks after we have moved in, my maid (her room di tingkat bawah) selalu nampak seorg indon berjalan belakang rumah. I pun pernah nampak dia lalu pukul 2 am ke atas. Normally I woke up between 2 am to 5 am. Kenapa indon lalu situ? Dia akan target rumah and check what time we sleep and until what time we stay up. One day, I was in the kitchen, baru je habis cooking, masa tu maghrib, tiba2 terperanjat sebab nampak katak pelik, never see that rupa katak before, tapi tak tahu kenapa, suddenly, saya rasa lain macam, my body macam shivering, and tiba2 darah menderau, seram sejuk. My previous maid, she worked 4 years with me, she help me throw out that katak ganjil. Tak tahu sebab apa tapi tiba2 ada rasa mcm berdebar, so after I have perform my magrib prayers, I do solat hajat and baca yasin tapi tak baca mcm biasa, ada caranya dan make doa for me and my kids safety. Tapi langsung tak mention husband, punyalah kejam...Then me and husband went out and come back at 12 pm. I wanted to give abg yusuf, my neighbour, phone number police tapi dia dah tido and malam tu pulak malam pertama dia tido dgn anaknya di situ. Barang belum ada. So tak kenal sgt lagi, tak jadi nak ketuk pintu dia.
Then around 4:30 am I dah jaga, and I feel something, I wanted to go downstairs and check at the back, tapi baby masa tu baru 3 bulan tengah jaga, I cant put her down coz she will cry and I dont want to take her to the kitchen with me. Tapi saya fikir, my maid selalu bangun dalam 4:30am and if anything she will dengar. Rupanya dia lena habis, tak sedar langsung. I have 2 beds in the master bedroom, and I was sitting on the bed when the 3 perompak masuk bilik dgn parang. I was looking at them. Though my bed near the door, but none of them were looking at me, mereka masuk terus semua mereka pandang ke arah wardrobe serentak. Macam cite 3 stooges. First I thought I was in a dream, but then I sedar I was not dreaming. I just watch them jalan terhendap2 depan katil I menuju ke katil satu lagi. Tapi tak seorg pun masa lalu depan katil I tu, pandang I yg sedang duduk atas katil. My husband sorang je kat katil lagi satu tu, siannnn... then I have to yelled to wake him up, kena yelled byk kali sebab jenis tido mati kena buat mcm tuh. Tapi masa jerit suruh husband bangun tu, tak seorg pun dari perompak tu pandang i or come to me to shut my mouth or ask me to shut my mouth. COz kat BP11, makcik tu kena tumbuk. Salah seorg perompak tu ialah yg selalu lalu belakang rumah yg i pernah nampak. If you all look at his face, looks innocent, tapi yg pakai parang panjang tu, memang muka pembunuh, sahih.
My husband terperanjat sebab bila terjaga parang dah dekat leher, so he menjerit, and that perompak nak pancung leher my husband, when see that, I ask my husband to keep quite. Kebetulan, my brother, he is PR di UK for 30years, ada bercuti and stay with me. He heard noises, dia ingat ada org mabuk kat luar sebab UK macam tu, bila dia buka pintu, dia nampak perompak, perompak nampak dia, so dia cepat2 tutup pintu. Perompak ikat my husband. And took him to my brother's room. Yg rupa pembunuh tu, tendang pintu kuat2 sampai pintu pecah. And my brother pulak masa tu nak call polica tapi he does not know my house address and his phone is UK phone. Tangan kanan dia pegang pintu, tangan kiri, dia change dari pakai kain pakai seluar. And at the same time, pintu tu dah pecah tapi tak boleh buka, padahal my brother tak pegang kuat pun cuma dgn jari je. Then dalam saat getir tu, my brother teringat, masa tsunami, ada rumah yg terselamat kerana penghuninya azan, so dia pun azan, bila dia azan, belum sampai 2 minit, perompak2 tu terus turun. And pintu tu pulak sebenarnya memang dah terbuka, memang dah pecah habis, tak boleh tutup. Tapi perompak tu rasa pintu tu macam masih kukuh dan agaknya dah sakit kaki tendang kot. My baby pulak tiba2 tido, terus I ambil handbag , sebelah I je, and call polis masa perompak masih di dapur. Dalam masa 30 minit selepas tu, i call maxis to detect my husband punya h/phone, nak tahu location, mereka kata near subang court. Dan juga, I notice perompak tu tabur tanah di tangga and ada garis2 hitam di pintu maid and sebahagian dinding. So, org indon memang suka pakai sihir or black magic. Kak pah, my neighbour, lagi best, perompak masuk rumah dia ambil semua barang kemas, siap dia bagi yg dia pakai lagi, sebab dia ingat perompak tu husband dia, and her husband is actually tengah tido nyenyak. Bila perompak pergi baru dia sedar.

home-guard security service at bp10!
The area maintenance for BP10 has been handed over to the Sepang local council (Majlis Perbandaran Sepang-MPSp) starting from July 2006. In regards to the handing over, the developer (Bukit Hitam Development Sdn. Bhd.) was pulling out the guards from BP10 and therefore, suggested that the Resident Association (RA) to continue and maintain the area security.
At last, after a few weeks (actually a month) of hand over the bp10 area from developer to MPSp, the security guard is back! This is the initiative of BP10 RA to engage security service due to the break-in cases in our 'taman'. At one time there were 5 break-in cases within 1 week.
Actually, RA have invited 5 security companies during the bidding stage. Out of 5, only 3 responded. Out of 3, the current company had given the best offer with the cheapest price that suit with our budget. So, the security service has started the operation in BP10 on 1st of August 2006.
Since then, there are complaints/suggestions from the BP10 residents regarding the security service especially the 'quality' service after what we are paying (quite high to some of the residents). There are some promises by the company that are not yet in place. But the RA is working towards that. The RA is monitoring the security service. Everything is documented. If you have further suggestion, feel free to do so. The company is now in 3 months probation period.
Lastly, HAPPY MERDEKA DAY!!!

check your TNB meter...

Our house nearly got on fire last Sunday. This is due to TNB meter spark fires and the meter itself was on fire. It was burnt out and produce fires and some of the fires caught my kids shoes and that makes things worse. So fire was on the floor as well as on the meter itself and nearly reach the porch ceiling. According to my brother who is one of the engineer in TNB, there are many such cases in Bangi and Puchong and even his friends got his house on fire because of that. Like our case, if the thing happen during night time, the house will definitely got on fire and nothing can be save and may be our lifes coz we are all fast asleep. Bomba only arrives 15 minutes after the incident. What can we expect then?
In Bangi there are many cases and in BP10 alone so far I know 5 cases but ours is the worse. According to my brother, in Bangi and Puchong the installation of TNB meter is not done by TNB contractors but developer's contractors. And guess what? Who are their workers? Foreign workers. Mind you all, those are not professionals foreign workers but indons, banglas etc with no qualification. For a malaysian to be a chargeman, he must get a licence, but the indons??banglas??? Fair enough?
And we found out our developer did not install the meter according to specification and worse case, they did not even put screw on it and this according to my brother who is TNB engineer, is very dangerous coz it will cause loose contact and slowly it will heat and slowly it will spark fires. We are lucky if we hear the buzzzy noisy from the meter but what if we are "deaf" enough to hear anything?
I think we need to do something to avoid this case from happening again not only to our neighbourhood but to all other Malaysians. We with other residence in Bangi, take few cases as prima facie should lodge a complain to TNB to take action on this matter. We can hire a very good lawyer, Karam Singh Walia hehe..
Victims never try to find out the root problems. We need to figure out the root problem, why this thing happen, the cause of fires, whose fault, etc. Victims normally will blame on TNB meter, but will TNB approved something if it is not save for the public? And why lately, many houses was caught on fire when there was lightning? My elder brother house was one of the victim and loss RM50K. I heard the blue roof house in Jalan BP10/12, lightning has caused the whole block blackout and damage most of the electrical goods in the house. Earthing cable got stolen from the substation may be. I think an action should be taken now to prevent worse case to happen in the future
ANother factor that can cause spark is inconsistency of power supply. This happen to other taman as well especially areas still under construction like BP10. This problem will cause damage to household electrical goods as well.

good sign!!!
Last Saturday April 15 2006, our BP10 community showed their commitment by attending the "Getting to know each other" session. Very GOOD!!!
Pada mulanya semua ajk yang terlibat agak gusar dengan sambutan yang bakal diterima. Maklumlah event ni adalah yang pertama kali dianjurkan oleh persatuan. Tambahan pula hujan mula turun sebelum acara dimulakan...

Presiden memberikan ucapan. Antara ucapan beliau adalah sejarah dan halatuju penubuhan persatuan.

Beginilah suasana di ruang registration counters, AJK begitu excited dengan sambutan menggalakkan. Event terpaksa dimulakan agak lewat kerana registration counters penuh dengan residents.
Bahang acara makin terasa...

Pegawai polis (dari Balai Polis Putra Perdana) yang dijemput memberikan sedikit taklimat. Antara fakta yang dikemukakan agak "mengejutkan" iaitu 8 orang anggota polis bertanggungjawab ke atas kira-kira 28, 000 orang penduduk di sekitar Putra Perdana, Taman Meranti Jaya termasuklah Bandar Bukit Puchong 2! Berita baik - beliau boleh dihubungi 24 jam.
Beberapa tips keselamatan juga diberikan:
a) duplicate car key - mesti disimpan di tempat tersembunyi bagi mengelakkan pencuri melarikan kereta yang disimpan di rumah ketika ketiadaan penghuni
b) alarm car key - boleh digunakan sebagai alert kepada jiran sekiranya rumah disyaki diceroboh (bawa ke tempat tidur)

a) Caj RM35 sebulan yang dikenakan oleh developer adalah untuk angkut sampah, bukannya upah security guard
b) Penutup longkang - terdapat longkang yang tidak ditutup dengan rapi membahayakan especially to the kids. Developer memberikan respon bahawa tindakan akan diambil.
c) Lampu di taman permainan - perlukan beberapa proses yang melibatkan banyak pihak seperti Majlis Perbandaran Sepang, TNB, developer dan juga persatuan. Permintaan mungkin boleh dipertimbangkan.

2nd meeting...
Friday March 10th 2006 9:30pm, mesyuarat kali kedua telah diadakan at the same place (rumah Azizul- No 25 Jln BP10/12). En. Yusoff had been elected as our President and En. Abd Aziz and En. Vincent Loh as Deputy Chairman (pro tem committee). Congratulations. Ada jugak muka2 baru yang hadir dalam mesyuarat tempohari. Satu perkembangan positif! And banyak jugak makanan pada malam tu... otak2 habis dalam sekelip mata!
Last weekend was the first time our community ronda2 our house area. Diharapkan lebih ramai penyertaan dalam operasi yg akan diadakan oleh komuniti ini pada masa akan datang. Next meeting will be on 9pm Monday March 20th 2006 kat tempat biasa... No 25 Jln BP10/12.

1st meeting...
Last week, on 24th February 2006 9:40pm (Friday) a meeting has been held at 25 Jalan BP 10/12. Walaupun hanya 20 org. yg. hadir, that is a GOOD start!
The main objective meeting diadakan adalah utk. melantik AJK Penaja seterusnya penubuhan Persatuan Kejiranan Penduduk BP10. Congratulations to all committees elected.
Thanx to the residents who attended the meeting. We are so lucky that BP10 residents are keen, honest and responsible especially 20 org yg hadir tu... Hopefully, semangat yg sama juga ada pada yg tak dpt. hadir that night.
Thanx to Azizul/Azian sekeluarga yg sanggup menjadikan rumah mereka sbg. "balai sementara" dan juga menyediakan juadah. The next meeting will be held on Friday 10th March 2006 9pm. I want to suggest...bawalah something yg boleh dimakan/minum...
